No Return Contact Emotive Fingertip Meetings Poem by Terence George Craddock

No Return Contact Emotive Fingertip Meetings

Rating: 5.0

between the flash of a camera
in a series of posed modeled shoots
a sought moment of intrigue arises

for artist with eyes time shifts sees

there is a haunting power in this pose
in held gaze slight upturn of the face
the slight degrees tilt turn of the head

the outstretched hands resting on knees
spread reaching fingers questing mind touches
white backdrop sitting on chair fingers

find no return contact emotive fingertip meetings

the gentlest finger tip touch can speak sense volumes

a moment recorded posed in time communicates
how much comes from photographer pose choices
how much from the yearning soul of pose model

to illuminate an emotive instant in a moment in time
