No Sound - Poem by Phil Soar

When there is no-one else around,
It’s great to wallow in the sound
Of silent moments, vacant times
Helping write poetic rhymes
Without that silence hanging there
Words are jumbled in the air
Hearing everything around
Is not as good as nothing sounds
