No, we don't demand equality
Let's go by this fundamentality
We need your masculinity…it attracts us
Just like you need our sensuousness.
This mutual need is a tether
The reason we complement each other
So beautifully we can harmonize
But this is why conflicts arise…
When we need to de stress
With someone we like to communicate
On the other hand, you unwind
By receding into your cave… straight!
Men want space
While women want empathy
There's an inherent contradiction
Both cannot happen simultaneously.
In order to better understand
These differences of ours
Suggest reading the book
Women are from Venus
Men are from Mars.
And if you don't have time
Then mark these golden words
No, we don't demand equality
But we do demand equal respect!
A great courage to face the reality with reference. Thanks for such impressive and useful poetic work.
