No Worries Poem by Randy McClave

No Worries

Americans have lost $5 TRILLION in savings in 3 weeks
More tariffs our government now seeks
Recession is looming, a depressing is blooming
Our dreams are flushed to the creeks.

Tornados are killing people.
We are praying to our leaders under the steeple
Wildfires are spreading, tomorrow we are dreading
We are being called and marked as sheeple

Wars are raging
With hate and threats we are engaging
People are being seized, Americans are displeased
Like wild animals humans we are caging.

We have detained without due process
As announced by our officials and the press
Corruption is creeping, through the government it is seeping
Lies are told which increases our worries and stress.

We worried and we watched and did scoff
As the world and our citizens were brushed off
Our country and democracy is going to hell, from the sounding bell
And Trump is playing golf.
