No Worries, Tomorrow I Will

Like the lost edges of the highest mountain cliff,
Is my will to live and ability to be.
To be and just be with no line of boundary,
To exist without sight or sound or feel of intention,
To feel most prime without thought of inferiority
And jump and keep jumping until I touch the sun.
To walk every mile I must to show those fools that the world is not round.

To whisper and whistle and join in the tune
Of waking Canaries and never once immune
To the contagious laugh dying country men laugh.
To climb the very top of the Eiffel tower and great Egyptian Pyramids
To touch the very very tip and see if it’d draw blood.
To look only in the mirror to cheer in my cheer and
Shout so loud so that all and every could hear,
Just how loud it was that I really could shout.

To scale the Burj Dubai and immediately leap,
Into the waiting arms of the ocean water below.
Go to the city of yellow taxis and wave to the stone princess
And let all and sturdy know I am a man, a man and no less!

Instead I sit here and wonder,
Because what if I broke, tore, sickened, maddened or died?
BUT imagine what if, just what if I didn’t? ! !
