In the dark night
The holy man was sleeping in the holy shrine,
Amazingly, the dark thoughts and wicked feelings were continuously obstructing the serenity of his mind,
He became frantic with agonizing spirit
And woke up in cold perspiration.
Then to his surprise, the man found the shrine full of bright light,
He recognized himself,
He was the same holy man with the clean soul and good deeds;
Soon noble thoughts and feelings thoroughly pervaded his mind
And the dark thoughts were completely gone.
All the anxieties being over,
The holy man became a blithe spirit and he fell deep asleep;
The ultimate truth of life was clear,
Excellent thoughts and good deeds win through in the end.
