Nobody Poem by Theodore Penn

Nobody

Rating: 4.5

Somebody tell me about that girl
the one who stands out against the world

Her hair is in a ponytail
Her heart is in gold
Is nothing but caring
to the young and old

Somebody tell me how to get with that girl
the one who stands out against the world

I'm just reckless & carless
with no peace of mind
Giving it all that I got
just trying' to change the tide

Somebody tell that girl
the one who stands out against the world

Right there the entire time
I've been so wrong
ten-million chances, wasted them all
can't hardly believe she'll soon be gone

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is the story of wasting your shot, even though you had multiple chances. Once you figure out how to make it count you realize it might be a bit too late for what you wanted. The Title "Nobody" can be placed in the begin of each section if being referred to in the past tense, 'Nobody told...'
