Non-Chilly Waiting Masala Poem by Prem Nizar Hameed

Ingredients:
Water, Salt, Oil, Tamarind,
Garlic, Vinegar and Ginger

Wash the Water with water drops
And remove ‘W' from it;
Take a pinch of salt and remove ‘A',
From oil, take ‘I' with a spoon,
One piece of ‘T' from tamarind,
A small piece of ‘I' from garlic,
From pure vinegar take a spoon of ‘N',
And take ‘G' from the grinded ginger.
Now you have all the stuff for WAITING masala;
Take one by one and put on a frying pan,
And stir gently until your waiting is over.

It is a delicious dish,
Which I normally cook
Whenever I wait for someone
And the so called someone
Would not show up on time!
