None To Feel The Stench

Rating: 5.0

Along with my own shadow
I traverse in the domains of a dark present
And none sees us.
We catch fire on the way and fall dead
With none to feel the stench!

With candles submitted before the image of a god
My own people set for a while
And the candles give out themselves
To the blowing wind stealing in
Even as the god sheds one more drop of tear!

Visuals exchange the scenes
With our past entities we begin to walk back
To our haunted homes
And then the night ends midway
With my people screaming at our ghosts!

NONE TO FEEL THE STENCH by M.D Dinesh Nair is a beautiful poem about the twain faith of the mind, Ist stanza and the 2nd stanza, , , , and the 3rd...., ,1) the soul of the poem Along with my own shadow I traverse in the domains of a dark present And none sees us. We catch fire on the way and fall dead With none to feel the stench! Ignorance of human kind that they cant feel or smell their deeds and its decaying instinct. and then to please lord /god we do many rituals The dogma of religion and faith on course loving to the God try to mislead by forgetting the surrounding where we live, the real god/godless dying out side and we neglect them with shear intention without loving or caring the surounding we can not care the lord /god beautiful end with Visuals exchange the scenes With our past entities we begin to walk back To our haunted homes And then the night ends midway With my people screaming at our ghosts! thanks worth to read 10

, In an eagerness to please the Gods, as everyone turns to places of worship, burning candles and giving other offerings, people fail to notice their brethren falling dead in the battle field of life! The poet altogether feels uneasy about a society that is not ready to love one's neighbour as one loves oneself and exposes the hollowness of a life of piety where fellow beings have no place! ! A powerful write! !
