Not A Shadow Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The curse of enmity and jealousy has thoroughly pervaded the world,
Her bosom is severely wounded and torn by the ravages of war,
The entire humanity is in great danger
And it is a matter of great concern,
Frustration and pain is prevailing everywhere,
The majority of people believe the earth is on the verge of destruction.

In this context I will walk in a different way,
In an optimistic mind, I have a dream and it is not a shadow this time,
But very much real and living and rock solid,
It has grown in my mind and developed in my heart
Like the plant grows on the fertile land and develops in its lap with proper nutrients.
Indeed, I dream it heartily and you too must dream optimistically
That the enmity and jealousy, which is deeply rooted, will certainly be uprooted from the world's soft bosom in an auspicious day,
Friendship and brotherhood will appear on that occasion and be strengthened gradually and naturally;
This way the humanity will be finally rescued,
We will sing in joy and breathe with ease.
