Not By Chance But By Faith
Come with me my friend
To the depths of the sea
Where no others will witness
Our souls being free.
I will open my heart
Reveal who I am
Without fear, without shame
Most naturally.
I will listen attentive
To your story as well
your dreams, your plans,
what you wish it could be.
While others struggle
just to find a kind heart
we've been blessed to have met
not by chance but by fate,
by some power unknown
by some blessing divine.
Two hearts have just found
they will not be alone.
I like the part where you say without fear or shame...naturally. Did you try to rhyme the lines and then did not do it anymore?
