Not Lucky Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Not Lucky

I need to live
And believe
In relation
As age gives clear indication

I opened window
To allow
Fresh air
And stared out side

The moon was at her peak
I felt strong and not weak
I needed simple boost
With safe place in love's nest

The air blew with force
Bringing in fragrance
The flowers were, as if, wanted me to smell
I really liked and felt so well

I saw leaves falling on ground
With no attachment to be found
They were delinked from tree
Now no more lucky and free

Not Lucky
