Not Tortoise, Hare Wins Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Not Tortoise, Hare Wins

The story of tortoise and hare—
The childhood tale heard with such flair,
But comes real life, to grey turns greens,
And it's always the hare that wins.

We love to back losing David,
But Goliath wins, not our creed.
For, everything gets turtled,
Old values when get hurtled.

And so do our childhood dreams,
Life's a leveller it seems.
