Not Waiting To Be Hurt Again - Poem by Peter Stavropoulos (Best Love Poems)

Not waiting to be hurt again
I hurt myself
In the most unjust way.

Not wanting to be hurt again
I direct the pain
To strike me in the most painful way.

Never tired of grief
I grieve for what I've lost
Losing it one more time.

By Peter Stavropoulos
(Written 1989, Before S-)
