Not Wanting Time To Pass Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Not Wanting Time To Pass

Traipsing through a calendar, dragging my feet,
not wanting time to pass to quickly.

Wanting to relax and enjoy each minute before it
passes into the nothingness of another one.

Hoping to have moments of joy and happiness, living
in that hope, praying for more time to spend there,
before being struck by more strife and turmoil in
life.
