Not Wanting To Drink The Essence Of Sadness Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Not Wanting To Drink The Essence Of Sadness

Walking through tears, left alone in a desert oasis,
not wanting to drink the sadness of their essence.

This heart so full of emptiness, a void that's ex-
isted through the years.

Sitting in the saddle, not wanting to alight, prefer
ring riding solitarily into the sunset.
