Nothing Else Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Nothing Else

Rating: 2.8

No age may matter
No hope may be shattered
No wish may die
Life may go on but you only try

It may be shaped the way
You want and to steer away
It will be no cake walk
Yet no hard matter also to talk

At each stage it may change
As a boy you had managed
As student you had passed with distinction
Now in life be happy and lead without friction

As husband you desired to be head
As father you wanted to be clearly read
Full sway over all members
Provided total care to remember

Children may grow in no time
Wishing to fly of their own sometimes
They are likely to choose independent destination
It is good but not to be an end of relation

Life is meant to be assessed
When crucial time is faced
Sit back and think over
What else is needed now for cover?

Only peace in mind and nothing else
Rest at home and no more chases
Stretch the legs and look towards
The sky and its horizon may provide some words
