Nothing Improves Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Nothing Improves

Nothing improves

Karma* or duty we call
That is main factor for our rise or fall
What we do in life is our concern
It is in our hand to make hell or heaven

The saints have laid down some guidelines
But we take our lead from divine powers
We keep faith in religion and God
Surrender to fate and carry the load

It is too big to think
About life and sink
Nothing improves
Until you prove

As normal human
You got to be good man or woman
Discharge function
And address humanity concern

Only show kindness
Bear smile on face
Mix with people
And stay as simple individual

No matter what is laid in religious books?
No matter how picture does look?
Individual consciousness and kind dealing
These all help in addressing and healing
