Nothing Is Dear Before Life Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Nothing Is Dear Before Life

Who wants movies? Who wants crickets?
Who wants festive? House is burning.

Who wants fashion? Who wants Gym Park?
Who wants parties? House is burning.

Who wants costumes? Who wants cosmetics? Who wants displays? House is burning.

Who wants virtues? Who wants ethics?
Who wants scriptures? House is burning.

Who wants courtships? Who wants friendships?
Who wants worships? House is burning.

You throw everything to the wind
When you are threatened to survive.
