Nothing Lasts Forever

I am singing a song
Like a bird before nectar
I am frolicking
Like a butterfly before flowers
Come to me
And I will give you bit of it
Oh too soon
The song flies away
Like a bird and I'm alone
Spittle dry mouth, eyes everywhere
Looking for the song
And I now know
Even gold fades.
