November 5th Poem by Oliver. Lyles

November 5th

Adventures are as adventures do
Off into the night of wilde pursuit.
Deepest dark, ditch an spin
Fire rocket lights with heavy din.

Down road that grass grows
Past puddle-Splash, gypsy-slumber
Lights in the skies now too many to number.

Fire frolic fine ales an wine
Back into the darkness for my joy to find,
With kick anda hoot, whizz and im gone
Back into the nights evensong.

Smoke fills the air with sweet despair
Singing songs to the dark
My friend of no remark
Just a whisper of the wind on the whisp
