Now And Unfortunately, Then Poem by Jason Jackson

Now And Unfortunately, Then

Greed, callous, selfishness and a trusted liar
Sinful, glutton, belongs on a pyre
The world has chosen to ignore the obvious
Adore the self-absorbed bigot, pity the pious

Media modelling deviants will inherit the dirth
Take all these black dogs away and dig me some real earth
use your hands and be genuine in your intention
if only honesty, truth and community was a constant invention
