Now I Realize, I Still Love You Poem by Emily Elisabeth

Now I Realize, I Still Love You

Rating: 5.0

I walk up to your house as you are looking out the window, waiting for me
I wave to you as you come running out
You wrap your hands around me and have a hard time letting go
We laugh and talk for a short while, because we don't have much time
Then we know its time
I ask if you want to walk me back, you say 'of course'
As we walk down the path you tried to grab my hand
I give it to you as we laugh because we don't know what to say,
Until its time to go
You grab me slightly and I lean into you
We look each other in the eyes, and then,
They both shut when our lips touch
I dont want to let you go, and I know you would agree
As I turned to go, I looked one last time, and you whisper, 'I love you'
I knew you meant it
And then I answered from the bottom of my heart, 'I love you too'
At that moment I didn't know
That, that would be the last time I would share something like that with you
With my deepest memories of that night, under the street light
I realize, I still love you with all of my heart

Pure love manifestation coming no from barren lips, but from the bottom of your heart, heart touching, well penned, keep it up! 10+++
