Now Or Never. Poem by Oscar Munir

Now Or Never.

Now or never.

Enough with the dating,
After all these years,
I believe I've already seen it all, I do know it all,
What makes you happy, what makes you sad.

I know what turns you on, what turns you off,
You fear rats but can kill a snake by yourself,
Rice and chicken is your favorite dish,
Green is such a darling color to you but pink remains your favorite.

High heels are not your piece of cake,
Between summer and winter, you'd rather the snow,
Alcohol, is a no-go area for you and,
You don't entertain anyone who takes it.

Movies are your thing but Titanic is still your favorite,
Cooking has been a therapy for you since childhood,
I know not picking up your call makes you mad,
You enjoy music but not quite a good dancer.

My conclusion is done and,
It's you I want to spend all my life with,
As a human being you got your own shortcomings but,
No one is perfect, I got mine too.

I want to be your groom, if you agree to be my bride,
You don't believe in rings,
But I hope this is the first and last you will ever wear,
My dear, will you marry me?
