Now You’re Gone Poem by Micron

Now You’re Gone

Rating: 5.0

Though life goes on and on
I toss and turn now you’re gone

I keep thinking of stuff I did wrong
Memories rattle now you’re gone

I’m sure there’s more I could have done
I miss your voice now you’re gone

You were my reason for so long
My purpose died now you’re gone

Wish you’d call say I’m wrong
I wasn’t ever good enough but now you gone

Numbed time just ticks goes on and on
I can’t sleep now you’re gone

I tried to show I loved for so long
I hope you realised but now you’re gone

I tried so hard to help and be strong
But I failed cos now you’re gone

I keep feeling I did you so much wrong
I cant correct anything now you’re gone

You made me study and work for long
But seems so pointless continuing now you’re gone

I never had the kids you wanted so long
Adding to my regrets now you’re gone

I’m a scatter brain you weren’t wrong
Trying to be more disorganised now you’re gone

Your pain I didn’t wanted to prolong
But for you its disappeared now you’re gone

I couldn’t heal you though you were strong
You fought so hard but now you’re gone

You asked me to take you home not leave you alone
But I thought they’d help and now you’re gone

I walked away to let you sleep get more strong
But it didn’t work and now you’re gone

In this world you no longer belong
Life drags on and on now you’re gone
