Now You See It By Darien Poem by Darien Trask

Now You See It By Darien

I didn't know you were
Such a magician
Fondling with my heart
And somehow you would always repair it with
A kiss or touch
Yeah, as if that could make it all better
Since you're such an artist
Make a knife appear
Not just any knife
A knife with your name on it
In
3,2,
ONE
A LOUD THUD I HEARD
AS YOU FALLEN TO THE GROUND
with this knife emerged into your heart
"Help me, I'm sorry"
Is what you are whispering to me
A kiss is what I place on your lips
As I look to your chest
I see the knife still in its place
You see
A kiss and touch won't heal every damage
"How does that feel? Sucks doesn't it? "
I said to you as you suffer in your tears
"Goodbye, farewell, good luck"
Is what I said as I walk away
With the feeling of
Now you see me
Now you don't
"Who's the magician now? "
Ha!
