Nowadays, They Have Respect For Nothing Poem by Hebert Logerie

Nowadays, They Have Respect For Nothing

Nowadays, they respect nobody and nothing
That's the trend, when thugs, and false leaders
Slice, rule, rob or steal everything, even the goods
Of others. The henchmen are officious, fast and brief.

The headless state is doomed, everything is abysmal
Everyone is afraid to go out shopping at the market
The impecunious merchants are forced to stay home
No pigs, no meat, no milk, no chickens and no eggs.

Most of the neighbors are contemptible kleptomaniacs
The pious Christians are waiting for the fall of godly manna
From countless foreign countries or heaven. It is a shame
That the citizens living abroad are also themselves adrift.

The street is infested with musicians, gangs and hypocrites
Most of the healthy products are already devoured by mites
People are jumping off bridges, and poisoning themselves
Quiet please. Shut up! Listen, listen, the bells are ringing.

The mass, the street people have burnt everything at sight
Buildings, homes, huts, the living, the dead and the coffins
The voices, screams and cries of the girls being raped have
Brought angry tears. The strangled geese are in the pond.

We are now living in the wild jungle, to simplify things
No pretty smiles, no laughs, and no beautiful roses!
We buried the victims and the soldiers in the same bone yard
It's absolutely true that our world is crazy, sad and bad.

These days, they're possessed and have respect for nobody
They treat the children of the Great God like unwanted dogs
Worse of all, the innocent destitute are seen as properties
Like fetid dead meat that they feed the ferocious sharks.

The country is in a coma, yet corrupt leaders and looters
Are constantly hunting, where the streets or alleys are dark
Clinging to their machine guns. No refuges and no shadows
Here on earth where scumbags inspire and vape misfortune.

If they have respect for nothing this is so sad. Crime provokes thought and brings troubles in life with sadness. An amazing poem is shared.
