Nowhere Poem by Mohammad Younus

Nowhere

Nowhere,
when you pass away from here,
can you find the life as it was—
Turn, if you could, and you will see,
everything has changed.
You cannot gather fragments,
seeking the old form.
Yet from that distance,
all lay hidden—
What remains of the things
you cherished in this life?

Cling not to possessions
beyond what grants you peace.
The tree of life stretches its branches,
even to where you rest,
its shade a gift to those who yield.

Time's hands cradle the statue—
words carved deep in stone,
echoing eternal whispers:
Remember each note
from the symphony of Alast.
Though no soldier, the battle calls—
Banish illusions that veil the heart,
lest they drown His voice:
'Am I not your Lord? '

Forsake not the vow you made
on the day of divine promise.
A day will come when
you stand before your Lord—
you will meet Him once more.
If you hold to this truth,
dust will shimmer as gold.
The path will align beneath your feet,
and the future will lean toward home.
No thought will stray from His will;
each step will follow God's breath.

You will wield the sword of Hu,
parting shadows within—
Leaving the dark behind,
you will rise into dawn's light.
Strength will bloom from within,
and the divine self will guide you home.
In every dawn, His nearness will bloom.
You will meet Your Lord again.
You will meet Your Lord again.
