Numbers
Hardly matter
it adds no color
at least gives you no honor

I am told
some poets maintain many fold accounts
some write under the false identity
some pay the money for followers only for seniority

This is written not out of jealousy
but for the cause of poetry
your write from own instinct
it shall smell like flowers and spread no stink

no one has the right to defame
and claim to be a degree holder
but these fraudsters vanish or disappear
and never heard thereafter

you get a jump of 100 points in one day
does this mean you have got popularity overnight to stay
you don't feel shame and get the bite from conscience
you shall feel guilty after seeing it with keen observance
