The wisdom of Nhat Hanh perceived
'When another person makes you
suffer, it is because he suffers deeply
within himself, and his suffering is
spilling over. He does not need
punishment; he needs help. That's the
message he is sending.'
we should teach this to our children
as they merge into teenage adult years
needing insights into complexity life
we should teach our children gifts
wisdom insight healing caring beauty
discernment to perceive angry souls
overflowing with bitterness hate
are often consumed with inner suffering
in rage inflict suffering upon others
hate consumes love heals
punishment prison heals not
suffering kindness love heals
there is a time when a priest
may shave his head of all hairs
shave off also anger bitterness
from the heart that hurts
shave off jealousy resentment
from the heart that bleeds
cleanse remove malice vengeance violence
let love justice kindness be spiritual guide
let beauty enlightenment remake this world
