O Beautiful Bees Poem by moon batchelder

O Beautiful Bees

o beautiful bees, my sisters
with your delicate faerie wings
and tiny fingers, but for your sting
you know i'd hold you in my hands
and try to understand your
silent whisperings...but for your sting.

o beautiful tree full of roses.
with your inocent fragrant blooms
and velvet petals, but for your thorns
you know i'd fall into your arms,
ecstatic in abandon to your
blatant elegance...but for your thorns.

o beautiful promise, a lover.
irresistable passionate fire
and sweet temptations, but for your curse
you know i'd graciously surrender,
fall into your warm embrace
in blissfilled ignorance...but for your curse.
