O Drunkard, Let Me Smell Your Mouth To Say It Whether You Have Or Not Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

O Drunkard, Let Me Smell Your Mouth To Say It Whether You Have Or Not

O drunkard, let me smell your mouth to confirm
If you have taken wine again or not,
Let me smell to ascertain it,
You outwit and befool me not
After taking the mouth freshener!

Who forbids you from taking wine,
Take it if you cannot without it,
But keep you within the limit,
Go not beyond taking to full,
Speaking a different language,
Involve you not yourself in drunken brawls and altercations,
Picking a street fight, falling and getting bruised,
Quarrelling at home and outside,
Breaking the things?
