O Holy Day Poem by Joyce Hemsley

O Holy Day

One golden Cross,
One crimson rose
Life's inspiration to me,
As over green pastures I wander
I am one of Your sheep
Praying to Thee.

Down in Your peaceful valley
Not far from the shore and sea
I think of the Resurrection
And my mind strays to Calvary.
From up in Your midnight heaven
Moonbeams shine down thro' the trees
Predicting the onset of Holy Day
When praises ascend to the Trinity.

One golden Cross
One crimson rose
Life's inspiration to me
As over green pastures I wander
I am one of Your sheep
Praying to Thee.
