O Linger On Poem by Peter S. Quinn

O Linger On

Rating: 5.0

O linger on my sweet
for all my love is here,
and to my heart I treat
what is to me so dear.

- -

We all have a melody
in our heart somewhere,
something of simplicity
that's of beautyto share.

Like daydreams going by
a moment in memory,
glistening clouds in sky
playful breeze so free.

All comes and goes
dwells for a short while,
like a blossom grows
in its own beguile.

Raindrops crystal clear
magic of a snowfall,
sunshine glow in air
little birds spring call.

Oh sweetest memory
how much you give,
in times of being free
and in true joy to live.

The times are going by
to give of its envision,
for spring's in the sky
in beauty of precision.
