O' Ma Uma Poem by Sathya Narayana

O' Ma Uma

O' Ma, Uma! O' Queen of universe!
In gloom, by thirst oppressed so much, we are!
Oh shower Ma, oh shower Ma, on us,
thine smile-moonbeams, dewy with Ruth-nectar.

O' Ma, Uma; O' ageless, birthless force
flowing through everything in universe;
perceivable are thou, through thoughts above
the earthly dimensions! To thee I bow!

O' Ma, Uma, for deeper noesis
you're aureole shrouding the Almighty;
for mortal eyes you're human; Hymavathi;
yet well realized as Kundalini by Yogis.
