O When God
O when God works inside
The hidden heart's of men
And tries to draw them unto Himself
So that they might be born again
What adjustments must occur
As faith begins its work
The Spirit of God hoovering near
To bless the written Word
There's a tug within the soul
Thatlives with unsatisfaction
When it has a yearning for change for sure
Then faith begins its action
There's nothing more that delights our God
Then when we recognize our need of Him
That heart gains a special place
In its want for repentance from sin
Then that special moment comes
When faith is understood
And claims the promises of God
Who's totally after our good
That whomsoever calls upon
The name of the Lord shall be saved
Then prayer begins its recitation
And we have victory over the grave!
O when God works inside
To what's hidden from all others
It is a work of grace and mercy
Filled with redeeming power
Yes the blood of Jesus cleanseth
Cleanseth from all sin
Why not today make Him yours
And ask the Saviour in!
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
