Objectionable Love Poem by Saida Ismailova

Objectionable Love

Rating: 4.8

Let me love you from a distance -
I won't cry myself to sleep.
I'll persist in my resistance,
Though this love for you is deep.

Every glance I steal I'll cherish;
Every touch I get I'll keep.
In my sadness I won't perish,
Though the road I'm on seems steep.

Every thought I will surrender,
When all I think about is you.
And, like a beast so rough and tender,
I'll let it roam so free and true.

This is your first poem here, Saida. So I welcome you to PH and say that your first poem has caught my attention. It is a nice poem, your feelings have been eloquently expressed in the poem. But if I may say so, the title of the poem is not good. Why do you call this love 'Objectionable'?
