Obsession Poem by Maya Stills

Obsession

Rating: 5.0

I am obsessed
With the smell
Not the scent
Of his skin

The touch of distant desire
Turns me on
More than attention

I am obsesed
With the sheer discomfort
Of being around
Unattainable closure

Oh, my restless mind
What did you do
Did you have to stoop
so so low..

I am obsessed
With the thoughts of violating you
Slowly. Steadily
Like poison ivy

Sometimes there is no glory of pleasure
Just a fade shade of compromise
You are to weak to understand, my desires
Or too scared to give in
I was obsessed with the wrong kind
In the end
The fault is all mine
