Ocean But No Water Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Ocean But No Water

Everywhere is crowd;
Each one is lonely.

Prosperity is all over;
Honesty is no more.

Knowledge accrues in plenty;
Wisdom evaporates.

Entertainment is round the clock;
Paucity of time chases the flock.

Globally friendly;
Neighbourly inimical.

Why?

Brain expanded;
Heart shrunk.
