Ode To Diamond Poem by M. Asim Nehal

I know Diamond is precious and costly. It has the light of its own to shine at night, I liked your ode which explains the quality, value and its importance.

line 1: I think I'd add 'ring' after 'diamond'. Otherwise it sounds like a diamond is crowned by a diamond. THAT would be like saying: 'BRI's (poetic) BRI-lliance is BRI-lliant.'

stanza 2: well thought and expressed ...However, a 'penniless' person might wish more for a good meal once a day. : ( Alas, the inequity on this planet. (cont.)

(cont.) 'alas ə-lăs′ interjection Used to express sorrow, regret, grief, compassion, or apprehension of danger or evil.'

Regarding stanza 3: 'Rough or raw diamonds are uncut and unpolished gemstones that haven't been altered or tampered with after being discovered. Raw diamonds look like transparent stones with brownish or yellowish tints.'

Every heart yeans Diamond, if not in actual at least symbolical.

Stand out lines specially for woman 'In every form, you shine, an everlasting light, bringing joy and wonder, by day or night.:

For me this poem is Awesome.

I think I'd much prefer a more colorful gem in my crown, ring, necklace, or etc. MY CROWN, usually only worn at home or at special parties, has rubies, sapphires, aquamarines, sapphires, and emeralds. A few pearls are nice. bri : )
