Ode To Grandfather Poem by Edgar Eslit

Ode To Grandfather

Grandfather, as I sit here with you,
I can't help but think of all the things you've been through.
The stories of your youth, your life's work, and your family,
Are a testament to the man you've come to be.

You've lived a life of honor and dignity,
With your unwavering strength and vitality.
You've shown us all how to be brave and true,
And how to live a life that is kind and true.

Your hands, once rough, now soft with age,
Are the symbol of a life filled with wisdom and sage.
Your eyes, filled with love and compassion,
Are the windows that open, and show us passion.

Your legacy is one of family and love,
A gift that we cherish and hold above.
And as we sit here, together, you and I,
I can't help but feel grateful and alive.

Grandfather, you are a true inspiration,
A symbol of a life filled with dedication.
Thank you for being the man you are,
A guiding light that shines from afar.
