Ode To Spring Weather Poem by Jessica Thomas

Ode To Spring Weather

Sun beaming, the sky's blue and bright
Hear the birds singing with all their might
Spring is here and summer's coming
Flowers growing from the ground still muddy
April storms give way to wonderful weather
All the hot, hot sweat the warmer the better
Nimbus clouds cry down on all living things
A cricket chirps and a bullfrog's voice rings
Another seemingly perfect day pours down around us
Now arrives a storm whose wind blows in gusts
Lightning flashes light up a moonless sky
Thunder booms and mother nature sighs
The storm comes to an end and the stars then shine
The unclouded moon compels the coyote to moan and whine
Shooting stars dart and the whole galaxy glistens
A hoot owl, in the woods, for his prey he listens
In time the sun will rise to start a new day
God's natural creations all help to turn April to May.
