Ode To Umbrellas Poem by Paul Warren

Ode To Umbrellas

Their purpose is undenied
To shelter sun or rain aside
But they can be a fashion thing
That can be such a colourful bring

Particularly if Japanese or Chinese
When they are decorated to please
But when I carried one on patrol
Others said I was a wimp out of control.

Funny! People can be really dumb about umbrellas. It was raining once when I dropped my friend off. She had no umbrella, but wouldn't accept the one I offered her because it didn't match her outfit...: -)
