Of Misty Days With Hints Of Rain Poem by Dwayne Rankin

Of Misty Days With Hints Of Rain

The sky was such a darkened hue;
Of billowing clouds and deepened blue.
But still some light doth filter through,
Upon the fields and forest, green.

Amist was spied within the air;
Seen laid across this land so fair.
Still dark the shadows everywhere,
Beneath that sky now seen.

The light, the dark, so mellow, found;
Laid so gently all around.
Upon the grass and trail ground;
Upon the waters, soft the sight.

But still, walk upon the way;
Through the mists that came this day.
And though the sky be dark and gray;
Yet still I walk within the light.

For though the day, now dark, doth grow;
And though, the rain, I soon may know.
Still found within, a light doth show;
It's beauty found within this place.

For such is found in times like this;
A sense of quiet utter bliss.
When by that mist, is left a kiss;
Soft upon my face
