Of The Gossip Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Of The Gossip

The culture of silence,
The sinister centrality of gossip;
But, his father is from Nkonya,
In the Volta Region of Ghana.

This language of yours is inquisitorial,
This language of yours is utterly insulting!
But, will your money also reach the poor?

To jumpstart the meeting!
By the influences around;
And like the history of Jamestown in 1607;
But, whatevr you do with your life today is your own choice.

Of an unexplored land!
of an unexplored love;
to the four corners of the earth.

Of the gossip,
Of the forerunner;
But a nuclear holocaust is ahead of us! !
With seven heads, two legs and two hands.

This is the right vision about the little horn,
Of the gossip;
With eyes like the eyes of man.

How long should i cry? !
Weed, feed, heed, need, seed, deed, reed, creed, greed, breed;
of horse swifter than leopards!
Of horses more fierce than evening wolves!
But, take heed that no man deceive you in this world.

Pierce, fierce!
of the gossip;
And, to be buried in it.

Let him or her who reads understands,
But, can you change a fish?
If yes; then, inot what form?
Because, a fish is always a fish.

To come to you with joy and to enjoy your company,
But, there is no true love in the world today!
Because, hatred and the very words out of our mouths have eaten us all.
