Of Which Gatekeeper, Of Whose Lands Glorious Poem by james watkin

Of Which Gatekeeper, Of Whose Lands Glorious

Of which gatekeeper, of whose lands glorious
Was denied, and denied again
While signalling wide, through no swinging access
That beyond, beyond doth remain?

'Are your thoughts, that outspread for love
Birds, sweetly up-praised, restrainless?
Your souls, for a shone through worn beauty
Bloomage, marked and streaked, stainless? '

Of one whose mercy, greater an angel's
Perceiving my shame's nay, head-shook
Strengthened me then: 'one repenting word
Does the process reverse. Look! '
