Oh, no, it’s raining again!
You can take a bus, a plane,
walk around with colourful umbrellas,
bending them against the wind like the white stem of a big mushroom.
Oh, no, it’s raining again!
All other warm-blooded creatures have to stay at home.
The wrens hide in the bushes,
Butterflies cling to the undersides of leaves.
Foxes shiver with their rain-drenched furs.
And look, none of them complain about the downpours!
Oh, no, it’s raining again!
A bird is happy he is not a worm.
Patiently, he waits out every storm.

The piece made me recall my own exclamation, when ever the rain was about to disturb my program for the day, OH NO, IT'S RAINING AGAIN. A well articulated piece of poetry, nicely penned with insight. A good poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
