Oh Sober Soul Poem by Lexy Ruth

Oh Sober Soul

Hurt and pained
Sad and drained
Sorrow in stake
Heart in flake
For a gentle ferry carries a silent history
Tears filled with sudden mystery
Flashback to grievery memories
Here comes some sepulchral greetings
A hope for-seeing
A prayer for healing
A desire for a hand to hold tight
Weeping might tearth at night
But joy shall come one morning
To take away the grief-striken feeling
Oh sober soul be thou strong!
