Oh That Tapestry - Poem by Heather Burns

Oh that tapestry
How I have yearned
to weave it with
you.

A combination of
threads
gold and silver

strong and secure
closely knotted
in the end.

tears and laughter
woven together
creating us.

our lives inter-
woven
a coming together
began so long ago
oh that tapestry.
