Heather Burns

A Figment Of My Imagination

A wonderful someone tall
and lean
Perhaps making the fairy
scene
Knocking on my door to
say
I'm your man from far away
Honey lips like the melon
dew,
A gentle spirit kind and
true.
A giving heart a summer
day,
Will it always be this way?
Coming from somewhere
across the sea,
Or will this always an
illusion be?

Simplicity of language and description, beauty of emotional dreams, flow of lines with pretty words, love decorated with all the VIBGYOR colors, what a gift to the readers who love to read the poems from the windy lands....10

    you are my favorite heather.
you play with words with that original simplicity of child,
    and create beautiful things.
    a ten for it.
